Wow, it's been awhile since the last update! I guess that's what happens when you forget your log-in and password! :) Alot has happened since November!
Thanksgiving was great! We had Tim's family and my family over for Thanksgiving dinner (after we ate at my dad's) and it was LOUD and rowdy as usual! But of course, we scoured the ads and set up our game plan for Black Friday shopping!! Mom and I hit up Target and the outrageously LONG line there then we went to WalMart, RadioShack and out to breakfast at Denny's like normal! The time inbetween Thanksgiving and Christmas FLEW by!
Christmas Eve, we had our normal family get together at Aunt Trina's! We changed the way we do the kids presents this year and it was SO much better! We all saved a lot of money and the kids weren't overwhelmed with tons of presents on both Christmas Eve and Christmas! We had TONS of fun and my spicy chicken dip was a hit! Christmas was BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!! This was my holiday at work so unfortunately I had to go to work after a FULL day of presents, food, and family! The kids I think were a little overwhelmed, bc I tend to go a little overboard on presents, but they still had a blast! It looked like a toy store threw up in our living room again! Tim's family and my family came over and we all had an early dinner before I had to go to work. We had TONS of food leftover and of course, no one wanted to take leftovers home! On Sunday, we went to Sean's house to have Christmas with him and Eliza. He made a great london broil on the grill and all the kids had a ton of fun playing together! With 6 kids between the ages of 18mths and 5yrs, it gets a little LOUD!! But nonetheless, it was alot of fun!
New Years was kind of boring over here. PSU played UF over in Tampa at Raymond James and I wanted to go SO bad, but of course I had to work that night! PSU ended up loosing, but it was still a great game! And Ben was rooting for JoPa!
Fast forward 3 days to January 4th....we found out were PREGNANT again!! I was in complete and udder shock and I still am a little! I went to the dr on January 20th and we saw a little flickering HB! I was 6w1d and we werent really sure what or if anything we would see on the u/s. I also have a small SCH, but Dr. Hopper said not to really worry about it right now bc it's small and it's not causing any bleeding or issues right now. I just had my 2nd appt yesterday at 9w2d and everything looked right on track! Baby was measuring 9w3d and had a HB of 182bpm and our EDD was confirmed for 9.14.11! Tim thinks it would be good to have the baby on his birthday which would be 9.10.11! I'm saying the baby is a girl, as are my mom and sister, and Tim thinks it's a boy! I guess we will find out for sure in a few weeks! I'm really liking Aria Grace or Madeline/Madalyn Grace for a girl and Greyson Cole for a boy. Tim isnt wanting to talk names just yet and we havent even told all the family yet! We will probably wait until after my next appt on March 11 which I will be 13w2d! We're both really excited, but also still a little reserved. But the excitement is getting stronger and stronger with each passing day!
Today is also a BIG day! My grandfather is turing 90 years old!! All of the family has either flown or drove in and we're all gathering tonight for a big pizza party at the marina where he lives and then tomorrow we're going to a place called the Mission Resort and having a big lunch and family pics done!! The last family pic was done in 1984 or 1985, so me and Laura weren't even born yet! I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again!
Well, I think that's a big enough update to the past couple months for now! I'm going to start making my beef stew and then maybe some Valentine cupcakes!
